KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The 600 Kitchen and Bar in Kalamazoo is back open nearly five months after a fire closed the restaurant just outside of downtown.
Operating partner Shelly Pastor says they held a ribbon cutting ceremony yesterday to celebrate being back open.
A fryer overheated in May and started a fire that did a lot of heat and smoke damage.
Everything in the restaurant needed to be replaced.
