KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Public Safety investigators have seven homicides in the past three years that have not been solved.
They are urging the public to help by speaking up if they know anything.
The first murder was June 7th, 2023 when 17-year-old Markii Robinson was killed in a drive-by shooting when he was walking in an alley near Stockbridge Avenue and Mills Street.
Five others from 2023, the deaths of 35-year-old Marcus Tillman Jr., 37-year-old Chana Redden, 46-year-old Tarra Mayes and 47-year-old Alfred Simpson, and 23-year-old Kenneth Pratcher have also not been solved.
The deaths of 20-year-old Ladarius Clay in September 2024 and 23-year-old Shaughqual Anderson in March 2025 are also unsolved.
