CLARENCE TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Authorities are searching for a Clarence Township man after a domestic assault investigation led to the discovery of stolen property and narcotics on Tuesday.
Deputies from the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic violence call at a residence in the 24000 block of L Drive North. While the victim was safely relocated, the primary suspect, identified as Michael Gale, fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.
A subsequent search warrant executed at the property resulted in the following:
- Detectives seized a firearm and a quantity of suspected methamphetamine.
- Several individuals present at the home were detained during the search without incident.
- Two stolen vehicles and one trailer were recovered and returned to their owners.
Gale remains at large and is wanted for questioning regarding the assault and the illegal items found at his residence. Detectives believe he may be armed.
