LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel says she will provide a full accounting of the costs her office has incurred in the Flint water crisis case in the next eight weeks.
Nessel made that promise to the chairwoman of the House Weaponization of State Government Committee, Representative Angela Rigas.
She says the costs will also include what former Attorney General Bill Schuette paid for the Flint investigation.
Rigas had asked for the documents two weeks ago.
The state ended the prosecution of several former officials in 2023.
