NEW YORK (Reuters) – The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s acting chairman on Wednesday told staff the agency will be restructuring its enforcement division to add deputy directors over three gegraphic regions.
The changes will leave enforcement staff reporting to deputy directors for the West, Northeast or Southeast as well as deputy directors for specialized units, according to a memo seen by Reuters.
The SEC did not respond immediately to request for comment.
