GALESBURG, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office says no one was injured as a man was robbed at knifepoint in the Village of Galesburg late Thursday morning.
Just before noon deputies were called to the area of Burgess Drive and New Street for an armed robbery. Upon arrival, the victim reported being grabbed while walking down Burgess Drive
He told police the suspect then put a knife to his back and told him to empty his pockets. The suspect then fled the area on foot, after taking the victim’s items.
A K-9 track was conducted, but the suspect was unable to be located. The victim was not injured during the robbery and at this time it is believed to be an isolated incident.
