Michigan has been hit with 14 tornadoes so far in 2025

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan, on average, gets 15 tornadoes a year every year.

2025 is different.

The National Weather Service has now confirmed 14 tornadoes have hit Michigan so far this year.

Eight hit in west Michigan on March 30.

That means the state has had nearly an entire year of tornadoes in just one week.
