SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – South Haven needs to hire a new police chief for the third time this year.
The city announced Dennis Honholt as their new police chief less than a month ago, but he had not quit his prior job as public safety director of Dover, Tennessee.
He resigned from the South Haven job yesterday and is still listed on Dover’s website as their public safety department director.
Honholt told the Stewart County Standard newspaper in Dover that he will make a statement and had no comment.
