CHARLESTON TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Two people are in the Kalamazoo County Jail awaiting arraignment on charges from one being stabbed and the other shot at.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to an address near the intersection of North 36th Street and East HJ Avenue in Charleston Township around 1 p.m. Wednesday for a report of shots being fired into a vehicle.
They found a fight between the two led to the shots being fired and one of them being stabbed.
Both were treated at the scene by EMS and declined to be hospitalized.
One suspect was arrested for felonious assault, and the other was arrested for outstanding warrants.
