Former Michigan guard Jace Howard announced Tuesday night that he is transferring to Fordham.
Howard is the son of former Michigan star player and former coach Juwan Howard.
“Let’s get it @FordhamMBB !!! Time to work,” Howard said on social media in reference to the Atlantic 10 program.
Howard reportedly is in the process of landing another season of eligibility. He played in just five games for Michigan last season under new coach Dusty May after sticking with the program despite his father being dismissed.
Howard played in 70 games as a reserve for Michigan, 65 of them during his father’s coaching tenure. He had 95 points and 61 rebounds for the Wolverines.
Howard’s younger brother, Jett, played the 2022-23 season at Michigan before being a first-round pick (11th overall) of the Magic in the 2023 draft. Jett Howard is completing his second season with Orlando.
