(Reuters) -Spain’s economic growth slowed down to 0.6% in the first quarter from a revised 0.7% in the previous three-month period, preliminary data from the National Statistics Institute showed on Tuesday.
Analysts polled by Reuters had expected gross domestic product to grow 0.7% quarter-on-quarter.
On an annual basis, Spain’s first-quarter economic output expanded 2.8%, compared to an average estimate of 3.1% according the Reuters poll.
The INE revised the annual growth rate for the fourth quarter 2024 to 3.3% growth from a previous 3.4%.
