KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team has arrested a 17-year-old boy after searching a home during a drug sale investigation.
Officers were executing a search warrant at a home in the 2200 block of Gull Road in Kalamazoo Township on April 24 when the teenager got out of a vehicle and tried to run off.
He was quickly caught and was found to have a stolen handgun concealed in his waistband and about a quarter-pound of methamphetamine.
He will be facing several felony charges and is held at the Kalamazoo County Juvenile Home.
