LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson says she is pleased the Department of State has won its second legal victory about the process of removing voter registrations of people who have died.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth District ruled yesterday that “Michigan’s multi-layered efforts are more than reasonable.”
The ruling upholds the federal district court’s dismissal of a lawsuit from the Public Interest Legal Foundation.
