KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Public Schools may soon be giving a break to seniors, and we are not talking about 12th graders.
Superintendent Darrin Slade said he received a message from some residents on the opposite end of the age scale, 55 and up, suggesting they get a reduced charge for school events.
He says it’s already in the works for this fall.
Resident Karen Ferrara requested that they consider free passes for seniors.
She says St. Joseph Public Schools honors senior passes from other districts, after all at least half the games are on the road.
