JACKSON, MI (WTVB) A Friday night shooting in Jackson County, left one man dead and three others critically injured.
The incident occurred at 103 Lincoln Court, prompting a swift response from local police and emergency services. According to reports, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and Blackman-Leoni Township Department of Public Safety were dispatched to the scene around 9:30 p.m. after reports of gunfire. Four victims, each suffering from gunshot wounds, were found at the location.
One victim, a 27-year-old Jackson man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other three victims, whose identities have not been released, were rushed to Henry Ford Hospital, which was briefly placed on lockdown as a precaution. All three are reported to be in critical condition. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting, but no suspects have been identified, and the motive remains unclear.
