SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Former South Haven Police Chief Dennis Honholt, who resigned after less than a month this spring, has also resigned from the job of public safety director in Dover, Tennessee.
Honholt quit in South Haven after the city realized he had not left the job in Tennessee, with South Haven City Manager Kate Hosier telling staff in an email April 23 that he had left the job.
The Stewart County Standard in Tennessee reports he resigned there May 9.
Honholt’s name has been removed as Dover’s public safety director from their website after it was still there earlier this week.
