DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Ram trucks will be covered by a new ten-year, 100,000 mile warranty on the powertrain.
CEO Tim Kunkskis says the more expansive warranty came from looking at lease timelines on new trucks and nearly 80% of truck buyers financing the purchase for longer than five years.
The powertrain warranty is for 2026 and later model year trucks.
It covers the engine, transmission, transfer case, driveshafts, differentials, and axles.
