KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The hottest temperatures of the year and high humidity levels have hit, making it feel dangerously uncomfortable this weekend.
A Heat Advisory has been issued through Monday evening by the National Weather Service.
It will feel like 95 degrees to 106 degrees Sunday afternoon, Monday afternoon, and Tuesday afternoon, according to the NWS.
You will want to avoid heat related illnesses like heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
The signs of heat exhaustion include the following dizziness, thirst, heavy sweating, nausea and weakness.
If you or someone you know is experiencing these symptoms, move to a cool area, loosen clothing, sip cool water, and seek medical attention if symptoms don’t improve.
Even overnight lows Sunday night, and Monday night will be well into the middle or upper 70s, which means there’s really no break over the next several days.
