MARENGO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 45-year-old Marengo Township man is in the Calhoun County Jail on a charge of assault with intent to cause great bodily harm less than murder.
He was arrested in Albion after another man told county sheriff’s deputies Thursday the suspect assaulted him and fired a handgun at him twice on Tuesday.
The victim was not hurt and told deputies the suspect also pointed the gun at other people at the home in the 23000 block of West Michigan Avenue in Marengo Township before leaving.
No names have been released.
