DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Gas prices in Michigan are three-cents lower a gallon to start the week at $3.26.
AAA Michigan says the prices hit a new high for the year last week at $3.32 and have fallen since then.
Prices are 13-cents higher than last month and 42-cents less than last year.
Lansing has the state’s highest price at $3.30, and Marquette has the lowest price in Michigan at $2.99.
A 15-gallon tank costs $48 on average.
In southwest Michigan, AAA says Van Buren County has the lowest price at $3.20, followed by Cass County at $3.21, Calhoun County at $3.22, Allegan, Kalamazoo, and St. Joseph counties at $3.26, and Barry County at $3.35.
