DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Filling up the gas tank in Michigan is 11¢ a gallon cheaper this week.
Triple-A Michigan says the average price is now $3.15, down 5¢ from last month and 43¢ less than last year.
The most expensive gas is in metro Detroit at $3.20, and Marquette has the lowest price in the state at $3 a gallon.
A 15-gallon tank on average costs $47 on average in Michigan.
In southwest Michigan, Calhoun and St. Joseph counties have the lowest price at $3.02, with Van Buren County at $3.05, Kalamazoo County at $3.08, Allegan County at $3.09, Barry County at $3.12, and Cass County at $3.13.
