WAYLAND, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The new owners of Hot ‘n Now say they will be open in Wayland this summer across the street from Gun Lake Casino. An exact opening date has not been announced.
Gun Lake Investments CEO Monica King says the brand “has a multi-decade history of providing value to families, so we intend to honor that history in this next chapter with our hyper-value focused pricing.”
The days of the 39¢ hamburger from Hot ‘n Now are gone, but the owners say they are committed to having the entire menu priced to accommodate “a wide range of households and incomes.”
The popular Olive Burger and Cheesy Taters will be on the menu.
Hot ‘n Now in Wayland will be open every day starting at 10:30 a.m. and stay open until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
It will be located at 1146 129th Avenue, right behind Noonday Market.
Construction of the Wayland location is underway in Alpena a B Cubed Manufacturing, the same company that builds Biggby Coffee’s drive-thru locations.
Hot ‘n Now closed almost all of its locations years ago except for one that remains open in Sturgis, Michigan.
