BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Former state Representative Jim Haadsma of Battle Creek will try to win his seat back in the Michigan House in 2026.
Haadsma, a Democrat, lost to Republican challenger Steve Frisbie by 79 votes in November in the 44th District.
He says if successful, he will focus his term on “restoring steady, competent leadership; standing up for workers; reinvesting in public education; fixing roads and infrastructure; protecting reproductive freedom; and ensuring Calhoun County has a representative who delivers real results in Lansing.”
