The Philadelphia Union announced the acquisition of striker Milan Iloski on a permanent transfer Tuesday from Denmark’s FC Nordsjaelland.
Iloski, 26, is signed through 2027 with an option for 2028. He began this season at San Diego FC, scoring 10 goals in just 14 matches (three starts) before returning to Denmark when his loan period expired last month.
The Union first acquired the No. 1 spot in the MLS waiver order from CF Montreal, in exchange for the No. 21 position plus $100,000 in 2025 general allocation money and up to $150,000 in conditional GAM.
“Milan is a dynamic, instinctive goal scorer who thrives in attacking transition,” Philadelphia sporting director Ernst Tanner said. “His ability to convert goal chances is extraordinary and he has a willingness to defend. We look forward to integrating him into the team quickly.”
Iloski made MLS history on June 25 when he scored four goal in a 12-minute span against the Vancouver Whitecaps, the fastest four-goal effort in league history.
The California native scored 43 goals in 70 matches over two seasons with Orange County SC in the USL Championship, winning the league’s Golden Boot in 2022 with 22 goals in 31 games.
