VAN BUREN COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office says six people were injured when an SUV crashed into an Amish buggy just before 8 p.m. Friday on County Road 388.
One person had critical injuries and the six are hospitalized. The SUV driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with deputies.
The sheriff’s office says speed and alcohol were apparent factors in the crash, with the driver being arrested for driving while intoxicated causing serious injury.
