KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Comstock Township’s deputy fire chief has been bound over for trial on charges for allegedly hitting and injuring a child while driving drunk in June.
63-year-old Michael Dyer waived his preliminary examination yesterday and his trial is scheduled to begin September 2nd.
Dyer told Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s deputies that he had drank three gin and tonics while at dinner at a restaurant on Gull Road on June 22nd and he blew well over the legal limit on a breathalyzer.
