DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The NFL’s most valuable franchise according to Forbes remains the Dallas Cowboys for the 19th consecutive year.
The Detroit Lions, however, are ranked as the league’s third-least valuable franchise at $5.4-billion. Only the New Orleans Saints at $5.3-billion and Cincinnati Bengals at $5.25-billion are worse than the Lions.
Detroit’s year-over-year increase in the valuation of the franchise is up 30% from last year.
The Lions open the season at Green Bay next Sunday.
