ALLENDALE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Security is now tighter at Grand Valley State University’s main campus in Allendale Township after a stabbing over the weekend near a dormitory.
Residents of on-campus housing are limited to just one visitor, living centers are now limited to a single entrance, GVSU identification is needed to enter and guests have to sign in.
Parking lots D1 and D2 are now closed every night at 10 p.m.
No arrest has been made in the stabbing that happened just after midnight on Sunday behind Kistler Living Center.
GVSU police say neither the suspect nor the victim in the stabbing are students at the university.
