LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The state House has passed a bill requiring Bridge cards in Michigan to have the recipient’s photo and signature on the back of the card.
Sponsor Jason Woolford of Howell says it is meant to cut down on fraud and misuse of the cards, saying they are being trafficked and sold.
He says having the photo and signature on the card would make it harder for criminals to exploit the effort to help Michigan’s most vulnerable citizens.
