KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team has arrested a 39-year-old Kalamazoo man in a drug investigation.
Officers obtained and executed several search warrants in the city with the help of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.
They found him in his vehicle September 20 in the 3700 block of East Cork Street and seized about four pounds of crystal meth from the car. They then carried out a warrant in the 1700 block of Race Street and seized more meth, cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, and three guns.
Another warrant executed in the 300 block of Candlewyck Drive turned up more methamphetamine.
He was arrested on possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and several firearms charges and is held in the Kalamazoo County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
