KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety has arrested and charged a suspect in connection with the armed robbery that occurred September 25 in the 3500 block of Stadium Drive.
Wednesday the Kalamazoo Office of the Prosecuting Attorney issued a seven count felony warrant against 20-year-old Theodis Nelson Liggion, Jr., 20, for the charges:
• Two counts of Armed Robbery
• Three counts of Felony Firearm
• Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW)
• Weapons Possession by a Prohibited Person
Thursday Liggion was arrested in a joint operation by the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team and the Criminal Investigations Division
At the time of his arrest, Liggion was in possession of a pistol and now faces additional felony charges related to this new case.
Friday Liggion was arraigned in Kalamazoo County District Court. He
received a $100,000 cash surety bond for the armed robbery charges and an additional $250,000 cash surety bond on the remaining charges.
