DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – It is a little more expensive to fill the gas tank than last week in Michigan.
Triple-A Michigan says the average price of a gallon of gas is up six-cents to $3.09, which is 13-cents less than last month and 27-cents less than last year.
Ann Arbor and Benton Harbor have the state’s most expensive fuel at $3.17, and Traverse City has the most affordable gas at $2.88.
A 15-gallon fill up costs $46 on average in the state.
In southwest Michigan, Calhoun County is the lowest at $3.01, followed by St. Joseph County at $3.10, Allegan and Van Buren counties at $3.13, Berrien and Kalamazoo counties at $3.15, Barry County at $3.16, and Cass County is the highest at $3.18.
