PENNFIELD, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 35-year-old Pennfield man after they investigated the electronic distribution of child sexually abusive material.
He was arrested Monday at his home after detectives obtained a search warrant.
The man was arrested without any incident.
The sheriff’s office says they had help with the investigation from the Albion Department of Public Safety and the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi Police Department.
Detectives say they take “these disturbing cases seriously” and are dedicated to getting offenders off the streets and away from children.
The suspect’s name has not been released, nor has information about what police seized at his home.
