LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – At least 100 No Kings protests are being planned to be held Saturday throughout Michigan.
One of those will be in Kalamazoo along North Drake Road between KL Avenue and West Main Street.
Since President Trump was inaugurated for his second term, Breakaway Strategy’s Ryan Bates says there have been over 450 rallies, protests, events, marches, townhalls, and meetings.
There were 50 protests held on the first No Kings Day in June, and five-million people attended 2,000 protests around the country.
State Representative Laurie Pohutsky of Livonia says people must stand up and call out the steady march “towards an authoritarian regime” in the U.S. under Trump.
