KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM.FM) – More bike lanes may be coming to Kalamazoo.
The city says it plans to reduce portions of Cork Street and Portage Road from four lanes to three to add designated bike lanes.
The Federal Highway Administration says crashes drop by up to 47% when the design to reduce lanes and add a bike lane are used.
The city says it will hold public input meetings in the coming weeks before plans progress.
