DORR TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Nearly a week after being closed when a semi hit the 146th Avenue overpass, southbound US-131 is back open in Kent and Allegan counties.
The Michigan Department of Transportation says the overpass is still closed due to the damage caused, but the highway underneath reopened Saturday.
It had been closed from 100th Street in Kent County to 142nd Avenue in Allegan County.
It was the second time this year the overpass was hit by a semi.
