KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo’s Michigan News Agency has been closed since owner Dean Hauck died in February, but it will reopen for three days this month for a community book sale.
Hauck’s father opened the business in 1947 and she became the owner in 1988.
The building’s new owner, Kalamazoo Forward Ventures, will hold the book sale November 22, 28, and 29 from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
KzFV officials say they will transition the building in a way that is respectful of its past, and “intentional about its future.”
