MORENCI, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The father of three boys who were last seen 15 years ago this month is now charged with killing them.
John Skelton of Morenci was due to be released from prison on parole in two weeks on charges related to the investigation of the disappearance of his boys.
The 53-year-old was charged Wednesday with three counts of open murder and three counts of tampering with evidence.
The last day the boys were known to be alive was November 25, 2010.
Nine-year-old Andrew, seven-year-old Alexander, and five-year-old Tanner were formally declared dead in March 2025 at the request of their mother, Tanya Zuvers.
