SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – After serving as South Haven’s interim police chief since April, Adam DeBoer has been named to the job permanently.
DeBoer has been with the department for more than 20 years as a police officer and sergeant.
He took over as interim chief when the city learned Police Chief Dennis Honholt had not stepped down from his prior job as the public safety director in Dover, Tennessee after serving both jobs for less than a month.
