WAYLAND, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 66-year-old man from Wayland was struck and killed after being struck by a car Monday morning.
The Wayland City Police Department responded to the 1100 block of West Superior Street around 7:20 a.m. to find the victim lying in the roadway with significant injuries.
The man was transported to a Grand Rapids hospital where he was pronounced dead. The incident is still under investigation, and police say the name of the victim will be released after family members are notified.
