Dec 15 (Reuters) – Acciona Energia has reached an agreement with Mexico Infrastructure Partners (MIP) to sell wind and solar assets in the U.S. and Mexico for $1 billion, the Spanish power company said on Monday in a regulatory filing.
The agreement includes the sale of a 49% stake in its 1.3GW photovoltaic portfolio in the United States and a full stake in two wind farms in Mexico with a total capacity of 321MW, Acciona Energia said, adding that the transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2026.
