Dec 22 (Reuters) – The U.S. Department of Education on Monday said it would launch a program review of Brown University for possible safety violations after a shooting on its campus last week killed two students and injured several others.
The review would look at whether the university violated a law requiring higher education institutions to meet certain campus safety and security requirements as a condition of receiving federal student aid, the department said in a statement.
