LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Most Michigan drivers have the white Pure Michigan license plate on their vehicles in 2025.
The Secretary of State’s office says over 70% of vehicles have the white plate with blue lettering, and it’s the state’s basic standard plate.
In second with nearly 11% is the blue and yellow plate first introduced in 1965 and brought back in 2021, and that is followed by the Mackinac Bridge plate in third.
In fourth is the discontinued Spectacular Peninsulas plate with nearly 4% usage, and the green and white Water Wonderland plate is in fifth at nearly 2%.
