HEATH TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being struck by a car in Allegan County’s Heath Township Tuesday evening.
Around 6:00 p.m. multiple deputies from the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a car/pedestrian accident on M-40 near 136th Avenue.
M-40 is shut down from 136th Avenue to 47th Street for the accident investigation.
The Sheriff’s Office says speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the accident.
The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Hamilton Fire Department, Holland AMR, Allegan County Central Dispatch and the Allegan County Accident Reconstruction Team.
