DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Gas prices are up 8¢ a gallon across Michigan compared to last week.
Triple-A Michigan says the average price is now $2.81, down 19¢ from last month and down 22¢ from last year.
A 15-gallon tank costs $42 around the state.
Michigan’s highest price is in Jackson at $2.92, and the most affordable gas in in Traverse City at $2.55.
In southwest Michigan, Allegan County has the lowest price at $2.75, followed by Berrien County at $2.79, Calhoun County at $2.82, St. Joseph and Van Buren counties at $2.84, Kalamazoo County at $2.88, Cass County at $2.90, and Barry County at $2.95.
