EAST LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Renovations to Spartan Stadium on the Michigan State University campus are expected to cost $500-million according to new documents from MSU.
The plans are to renovate the concourse and concessions, upgrade bowl seating and accessibility, and more.
The first part of the work will add premium seating, a welcome center, and a corporate sponsor space to the east side of the stadium.
The stadium’s facade will also be updated, and proposals from contractors are due to MSU by January 22.
Construction will start in November 2027 and be complete in the summer of 2029.
