SEOUL, Dec 31 (Reuters) – South Korea’s consumer prices rose 2.3% in December from a year earlier, in line with median forecasts of 2.30%, Statistics Korea data showed on Wednesday.
The consumer price index increased 0.3% on a monthly basis, compared with a 0.2% rise expected by economists.
For the whole of 2025, headline inflation was at 2.1%.
