COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Echo Valley in Comstock Township is now open for the winter under new ownership.
Hank and Sarah Avink bought the toboggan run and sledding hill from Melody Stirk, who had owned it for 30 years on H Avenue overlooking Campbell Lake.
Hank says they had to gut and rebuild the lodge after discovering a lot of termite damage, made repairs to the eight toboggan runs, and did more work over the last two months to be ready.
Echo Valley is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. all weekend.
