KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Democratic Party leaders in Kalamazoo held a panel discussion last night at the Crawlspace Comedy Theatre in front of a packed house as they talked about U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement activity.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff Richard Fuller says the actions by ICE “are difficult, very difficult for us as well,” adding many other police chiefs and sheriffs are “standing up and saying, ‘this can’t go on.'”
State Representative Julie Rogers added it is terrifying to her that she did not have answers for people who are concerned about being able to stay safe.
Kalamazoo Vice Mayor Drew Duncan and ACLU strategist Lilly Eggeres joined Fuller and Rogers on the panel.
