Neighborhood in Kalamazoo Township under boil water advisory

KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A neighborhood in Kalamazoo Township is under a boil water advisory due to a water main break over the weekend.

The advisory is for Arthur Avenue between East Main Street and Dearborn Avenue.

All homes on both sides of Arthur Avenue should boil water for two minutes before using it for cooking or drinking, but officials say it is safe to use it for bathing.

The advisory is expected to be lifted by Wednesday.
